Getting started
First-run checklist
Follow these steps in order — from signup to a running agent.
Most Start failures are a skipped step below. Work through the list once; after that, use the Integrations and Agents guides for detail.
Steps
Create your account and pay (see Create your account).
On your computer: install IB Gateway, log in, and turn on the API (see Interactive Brokers).
Integrations → Interactive Brokers: install Oasbit IBKR Link, pair with a code, Save & verify until CONNECTED.
Integrations → connect every AI provider you will use on an agent (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and/or xAI).
If any agent will use Massive for quotes or charts: Integrations → Massive → add API key → Save & verify.
Optional: Settings → Trade — set defaults so new agents prefill the way you like.
Agents → Add agent → finish the wizard → Launch.
Open the agent → search and pick one contract → Start.
Watch Activity — you should see quotes, charts, AI steps, then HOLD, approval, or an order.
Tips
You’re ready when
Status is RUNNING or PAUSED (waiting for your approval). Overview shows green Connections for IBKR and every AI on that agent.
Stuck?
Open Help → Integrations → Interactive Brokers or AI providers — that fixes most blockers.
Troubleshooting
Start is disabled
Fix: IBKR CONNECTED, every assigned AI CONNECTED, Massive CONNECTED if used, and exactly one contract selected on the agent.
